Usually ‘mama’. The main other one is ‘mawt’ (kind of…). I say mama to my mother anyhow.

My dad’s Turkish and the word for Mom there is “Anne”, but it’s pronounced ON-NAY.

In my mom’s native country they usually just say “mama”, with maybe a variation here and there, just as it is in the US. My baby cousin (w/her mother) still lives in that country. She calls her mom “Amaa!” lol. Other translations for mother include ‘ibu’, ‘bunda’, and ‘biang’. I think those are more proper translations, though.

In Turkish – Anne ((My husband is Turksih))
In German – Grus Muta ((My family background is from Austria)) – but am not sure on the spelling.
French – Maman ((I learnt French))
