Buy a new door knob that has a key lock in it. I got one just a few days ago from Home Depot for 9 bucks.

OK get a handgun then tie a piece of string to the trigger, next make sure that piece of string is long enough to attach to the top of the door so when she walks in…BOOM!

Forget the trap thing !!!

Get a stun gun on the internet, and let her think that you are not in your room… lie in waiting, and when she enters without your permission – - – Hit her with the stun gun… and while she is being shocked, and is lying on the ground, scream at her “SEE THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR GOING INTO MY ROOM WHEN I TELL YOU NOT TO B!@!!!CH !”

when i was little my mom would take a small piece of tape and stick it to the very top of the closet ( so we wouldnt notice) and if we opened the door she would know cuz the tape would not be stuck.. lol she did this so we wouldnt peek at our christmas presents… eventually i was smart and noticed it!

I think it’s sad that you can’t be open and honest with the people whose house you live in. What do you have to hide?

Anyway… Just go to the hardware store and buy a new doorknob that has a key-lock in it. Ask permission first. After all, It’s not YOUR house.

I am ussually against it but this is what you do:

1) Buy rats

2) get a cage for them

3) tie some rope to the door of the cage and the other end to the door nob.

Voila! A person enters and the rats are released scaring the person!

the question is: what are you hiding? i’m sorry to say, but your mom owns your house and that includes your room. just be happy that she hasn’t removed your door. she can, if she wishes,it’s her right. my advise to you is: get your act together and don’t bring problems into the house. no need to thank me, i’m here to help.

I don’t know if you’re trying to hide something illegal from her, in which case I’ll be real pissed to have given you this advice. But if you’re just looking for privacy and she won’t give you any, then I’m ok with it.

I don’t know how old you are but if you feel you’re entitled to your privacy, you’re old enough. If privacy while you’re in there is all you want, then a hook and eye on the doorjamb will suffice. You can get these in any hardware store. If she’s snooping then I’m afraid I won’t be able to help you. I’m a mom and if I felt my kids had drugs or something in their room I would snoop too.

Both my kids have locks on their doors, but my husband and I have the keys to open them if needed.

I wish I could advise you about keeping her out while you were gone but I don’t know if she has a reason to snoop or if she’s just compulsive. Sorry.
