The United States should adopt laws that mandate abortion / introduced for poor people?

Quandary merely by Bronies are Terrible: Should America adopt laws that mandate abortion/adoption for the poor?

I don’t see how people on welfare are allowed to continue to have children. I believe that these “mothers” should be forced to give up the baby, and get a real job.

Nevertheless this is info on Should America adopt laws that mandate abortion/adoption for the poor? possibly have to fix difficulties independently. I agree with you. I think it’s irresponsible to bring a child into the world when you can’t even provide for yourself. Abortion is a whole other story though that I won’t get into.

Hell no. Reproductive freedom and choice for everybody.

My father would say this a typical middle class American attitude I mean you leave people to die in New Orleans don’t you? You simply don’t care about those suffering in society. Get an NHS system and care for your people instead of allowing them to go hungry without medical care.

That is aweful! Ovbiously they were ment to have this child. U don’t know how the baby could effect their life. Maybe there child would become there motivation to do better in life.

I know plenty of people on welfare and they are danm good mothers who put there child before everything. What gives you or anyone else the right to decide who should be “allowed” to have children.

Yes, please, because I don’t think the government has enough control over women’s reproductive rights as it is. They should be throwing women in jail for having an abortion, women who report that they miscarried should be subject to a thorough investigation to ensure the fetus died of natural causes, they should outlaw birth control, they should tell us which health care providers to use, and they should give every woman a personalized scheduled which details which days of the month she should be allowed to have sex with her husband (no sex for unmarried women, of course).

I’m with you! Sounds like a great plan!

Just because a mother is poor doesn’t mean they are a bad parent at all. They where put it some bad circumstances or maybe even made some pretty bad decisions. What welfare is designed to do is help these people with kids to feed them and eventually get off welfare and get a job. I realize there are people just getting by on welfare and making the system look bad. But why punish the good moms out there that just need some help. These “mothers” your referring to are in a sad state and they must really need some help and that all where trying to give them. They should not have to give up there baby! You can talk to a lot of successful people out there who were being supported on welfare growing up. where we just supposed to assume “oh shes poor and shes have a baby?” she must be a drug addict or something terrible. NO! maybe she just needs somebody to help her maybe she loves her baby and she wants to be a good mom. If a mom is able to keep her baby safe that’s great, America needs that there are already a lot of people trying to be adopted and i think adoption is great but if a mom wants to keep here baby with a little help God Bless her! And don’t even get me started on how wrong Abortion it! Sorry if i rambled but this it just makes me sick you can bunch people together like that there not all bad people on welfare. Hope this helped and God Bless you.

Having children to stay on welfare is not the problem cause some times its hard to find a job and when you do get one child care is so darn expensive its hardly worth it.plus the.real problem is the people on welfare who trade food stamps for drugs and who can’t provide for there children because of the habit. And I dnt care who you are abortion is NEVER the answer.

As much as I’m for choice, I do wish sometimes that completely stupid/irresponsible women could have that choice taken from them. There are a lot of girls and women out there who have NO business WHATSOEVER popping out kids, but they do it anyway. I could rant about this for a few paragraphs but I’ll just stop right there.

Mother and Child by Mary Cassatt

Look basically by Mother and Child by Mary Cassatt

Mother and Child, c. 1905 by Mary Cassatt, oil on canvas

Mother and Child represents a theme that Mary Cassatt often painted throughout her career as an artist. Creating complex, impressionistic lighting effects, a floor mirror reflects the scene in a hazy, indistinct manner.

The models for Mother and Child may have been neighbors of Cassatt’s near her country home outside of Paris. She often asked local women to sit for her, feeling that professional models posed self-consciously. For the sittings, Cassatt tended to dress the women in gowns she had bought from well-known Paris clothiers. As in most of her paintings, Cassatt does not glamorize or sentimentalize her subjects; instead she presents them as wholesome, attractive individuals.

When Cassatt painted Mother and Child she was at the height of her artistic success. She drew on her many years of experience, working with ease and assurance. She captured the varying effects of light: pure strokes of green and gold suggest the sun flooding the artist’s studio on a summer day, and glistening touches of pale yellow highlight hair, dress, and furniture.
