In my native language, Punjabi, the word for “mother” is “Maa” or “Mumma”

I say “mamma”. It’s Italian.

In Hebrew we say : “Ima” (it is pronounced ee-ma)
For dad we say : “Abba” (just like the band ABBA)
Many Israelis say “mama”, such as Yiddish speaking families (Ultra Orthodox), Russian, French or Arabic.
