Why women complain about the children and keep them begging for?

Quandary made by Alex Reid: why do women beg for kids and then complain about raising them?

whilst the man is out at work, surely the man providing for them financially is his part. the word “mother” means to mother.

Actually related to why do women beg for kids and then complain about raising them? which you might really have to resolve problems theirselves. Hopefully you like this will assist you in many ways, and formulate your life significantly better. In hopes related to why do women beg for kids and then complain about raising them? may well be the very best in the near future.

Best solution:

Answer by Ace Aerosmith

Please, do not have children. If you feel that your only involvement will be to provide finances, you are already too stupid to be having kids. Children need fathers too, not just a wallet that puts food on the table. Get a vasectomy.

Answer by Braylne’s Mommy is expecting #2

Because the word mother is not synonymous with slave.

Answer by Sarah

Women have to give up their career and their social life. If a couple want children, the responsability should be shared.

But I agree that if people want children they should stp their whining. It’s what they wanted so deal with it

Answer by Linda R

Because a MARRIAGE is between TWO people and they share 50/50 on EVERYTHING. Therefore, when having children, even though the father works….he ALSO needs to help with their raising…after all, he is their FATHER and is as much responsible for a child’s upbringing as a mother is.

I raised 3 and their father felt the same as you, however, I loved being a 24/7 mother but was also disappointed that their father was really NOT part of their lives – other than a male figure who left for work every day, came home every evening, ate dinner with them and then sat his butt in front of the TV and refused to do anything with them on the weekends.

My oldest child, a boy, has 3 daughters and has changed diapers, bathed and help feed everyone of them. He works full-time but refuses to take advancements because he wants to be there when they get home from school everyday (or he walks to the school and then walks home with them). He is what I wish his father could have been.

Answer by MalaChia

You have a lot to learn.

Answer by John

I agree with you. My wife whines about having to shut the kids up while I watch TV, and having to clean my dishes, and I tell her if she doesn’t like it she shouldn’t have married me.

Because women love to complain, right?

Why women complain about the children and keep them begging for?

Lie within their yangbumoeul How Can you forgive him?

Idea from Stinky Babyhead: How can I forgive my adoptive parents for their lies?

My “father” is African-American and my “mother” is native American. When I asked why I was a blue-eyed blond, they told me that I was albino.

It is things to consider about How can I forgive my adoptive parents for their lies? that you could requirement to fix troubles independantly. Can easily it will help in several ways, that will create yourself greater. Who wish things to consider about How can I forgive my adoptive parents for their lies? could be a strategy tomorrow.

Optimum solution:

Answer by Ren

Outstanding. I once lied to my sibling that she was adopted. Gave her a strong backbone. You should thank your parents.

Answer by Amber

I would just be happy to be part of a family and not have to live life in a sh1tty orphanage or in the foster care system.

Answer by ♥Cуαиι∂є♥ [Sтιℓℓ єχтяα ℓєтнαℓ..]

I too think they were at fault for lying to you.

You should ask them for an apology.

However:

The fact still stands that they raised you, fed you, cared for you, nurtured you and paid for all of your expenses. If you think they were good parents, I think you should try to move on and forgive them for it. They probably did it because they thought it would be better for you if you didn’t know at the time.

Answer by Jonathan Moop

that sucks. well they must love you because they didnt want to tell u the truth and put any distance between themselves and you…and dont put father and mother in quotations, if theyve cared for u and raised u and provided u with a computer than they must love you.

Answer by UnPhazeable

What do you think adopting a child is like beating the first level of a game. No one knows what to do, what to say. Of course, their answer was horrible but you should thank them and ask them an apology for lying. In their defense though I wouldn’t know what to say either.

Answer by tammee

You are sooooooooooooo lucky!!!! I love the Native American spirituality and the African American way of life. Also, albino’s are very sacred in the native culture.

Forgive them! They’re doing the best they can.

Pro choicers are desperately looking for a reason to abortion and to be OK?

Main problem created by ya: Pro-choicers desperately looking for a reason to be OK with abortion?

Have you noticed that in Pro-Life and Pro-Choice arguments, pro-choicers always revert to rape, incest, etc? The majority of abortions are used as birth control!

Really, should a child really die because of the actions of the “mother”?

research shows that 98% of abortions are done for convenience. only 2% of abortions were the results of rape, incest, or life-threatening situations. liberals should ask themselves: “what if abortion was legal in the 1960s? would Obama still exist?”

Answer by Liberal AssKicker

When the facts are NOT on your side, desperation is all you have left.

Answer by xg6

Women have abortions because men impregnate them. If you really want to stop abortions, go after the men who treat sex like a form of recreation. Women do not always have choice if they want sex, but men do

Answer by Brian

No they shouldn’t be..

Typical, blame the man that has no say in the decision at all..

Answer by DenizenofEvil

The only reason there should be an abortion is in the case of a rape or if it endangers the life of the mother.

Shame on those who are using abortion as birth control. You had a choice-The choice to keep your legs closed! You have no right to choose whether or not that baby inside of you gets to live.

In addition, shame on those who actually say that the fetus is just a parasite. It goes to show the lack of respect for life. That’s not to say all pro-choice people think that way. Thankfully, very few people think that.

Answer by Snerdly Hussein Snerdly

“Women do not always have a choice if they want sex but men do”?!!! What?!!! And anyway, are you proposing mass castration of promiscuous males?

Answer by ” Why Socialism?” A.E

This is getting really annoying, the child never existed, it cannot remember so therefore it would not feel the pain. Also, it’s not always the mothers decision to get pregnant. Your version of reality is warped if you believe that a female being forced is her fault.

Answer by Lieu. Provo William Parry Wallis

A cluster of cells and a fetus isn’t a baby.

Answer by Verusanct

you notice how pro-lifers only care about the fetus and don’t give a darn about the condition of the baby after birth?

Answer by J

first, it is simply ‘Pro choice’.

second, no one is looking for an excuse. rape, incest, and medical issues are the reasons i am pro choice. period. i dont, nor most others, believe that ‘innocent babies should be killed for convenient birth control.’ come off it, we have our beliefs, u have urs. why turn our beliefs into more than it is? i have no interest in blatantly slaughtering babies. just as i’d hope u’d never force a raped 13 yr old to have her father’s kid or a sick woman give birth to a sick baby that may kill her in the process. calm down.

Answer by bash

No. I have noticed that pro-choicers are quick to make statements without sources.

I am assuming that you FULLY support social services, sex ed, welfare, WIC, medicaid, S-Chip, pre and post natal care for impoverished children and mothers. I am assuming you have adopted or are currently fostering one or more of the 3 million foster children currently in the US. Since you care so much about children. To quote you: “Really, should a child really starve to death or die from disease because of the actions of the mother?”

No, but a fetus can.

Answer by Son of Liberty

I’m “pro-life” but I have never said that exceptions didn’t exist. As usual, the Lefties exaggerate.

Answer by OBAMA- NOMICS Trickle Up Poverty

Less than 2% of abortions are due to rape, incest or the health of the mother.

Which mean over 1.5 MILLION babies are killed every year, because carrying them for 9 months was inconvenient for their mothers.

How anyone could look themselves in the mirror after killing their own child, is beyond me.

Answer by Poohcat1

It is all a matter of people taking responsibility for their actions and this does not only apply to birth control or abortion. This country has been on a steady downhill slide since the end of World War Two and it is not even slowing down. The problems that we are seeing in our country right now are ALL due to people not doing the right thing. It doesnt matter whether you are talking about birth control, relying on welfare or maxing out a dozen credit cards. it is the same thing. I want what I want when I want it.We are spoiled children who have had a government that spoils us…and now we (being in the drivers seat) have chosen a government that will only increase our dependence on them.

Answer by irishmom91562

In today’s day and age, it’s a rarity that abortion is sought after a rape. When women report the incident, they receive the type of medical treatment that ensures that a pregnancy is not going to result.

Even if a rape did result in pregnancy, having an abortion doesn’t negate the rape. It only compounds the matter by making the rape victim a murderer as well.

NO CHILD SHOULD DIE because of the irresponsibility of a woman.

Answer by yo-yo

I can’t tell them what do, but they do have the choice to not have sex.

Answer by tanayrw420

Should a child be born into poverty and an unstable home? Should a women be forced to carry a child just to have to give it away?Should a child with extreme birth defects have to live a limited life?Should a mother have to die because she cannot medically carry a child without that risk?

Abortion is a personal choice that no one has the right to judge. You do not know there personal situation or reasoning behind an abortion! What is right for one person may not be right for another…that is what choice is about!

Answer by Legend in your own mind!

How many deformed, 9 yr old black, white or any other race of children have you adopted lately or how many rusty coat hangers have you handed out?

Get a grip.

I know an 83 yr old woman who had an abortion back in the 1940′s because her then husband, a decorated war veteran beat her non-stop, raped her on a regular basis and left her on the streets to die penniless and the law did nothing to him. She almost bleed to death because of the illegal abortion. She happens to be my best friend to this day. Shame on her. How dare she. Why she should have given that baby up for adoption to a “family who really wanted it”, but unfortunately WAY more babies are born than willing families to adopt deformed babies born with birth defects because of the beatings and other abuses they suffer. That doesn’t even touch on the degradation and humility women suffer globally because of your sick, demented mindset. How about we gang rape you for a while? You might actually enjoy it though.

Answer by Justin Case

Yes I believe that most abortions are because of convenience.

And for the woman who said that women don’t always have a choice whether to have sex and men always do. Well that sure is news to me.

If it was my choice I would sure be having it a lot more often.

Answer by Stephen J

Yeah…women need to keep thier legs closed but men don’t need to keep it in their pants. How about the guys that impregnate a women then dump her….or are guys just so morally superior that that never happens?

A lot of the times a fetus is aborted because “daddy” refuses to accept responsiblity for his sin…daddy refuses to pay a single cent of his beer money to buy diapers. What about those actions which contribute HEAVILY toward a woman’s decision to abort or not to abort?

How about penis and scrotum loss for men after a rape conviction…how about penis and scrotum loss after a man rapes a child? Why is prison the only punishment for horn dog men who rape women and children???

Besides….abortion serves God well. You do know those aborted fetus souls go straight to heaven don’t you? Satan hates abortion because it deprives him of the opportunity to corrupt those souls and doom them to hell…so are you a Satanist? Helping your friend out so the devil can gather more souls for hell?

Answer by SERENAZ

Ya … have you ever heard of D & Cs?

(probably not … so why not do a web search)

D & Cs are what Pro-Lifers have when they ‘accidentally’ get pregnant … it’s discreetly done by their family doctor in private clinics … so they can then get on with the hypocrisy of pointing their finger at others who choose to abort because it’s their body and their choice.

( By the way, it’s a ‘fetus’ that is aborted not a ‘child’ as you claim in your over the top inflammatory way!)

Answer by AwesomePossum

Im for it being the woman’s choice. Hence the word Pro-Choice. That does not mean that I condone abortion. It just means that if a woman decides to get one it is none of my business.

Answer by debbiep

Abortion is either legal or not. It doesn’t make a difference which reason a woman uses, abortion is legal and only she has the right to decide if she continues the pregnancy or not. This is a privacy issue. If you are against the procedure you will not be required to have one and on the other hand, if you are pro-choice you may not be forced by someone else to continue the pregnancy. When abortions were illegal, they still took place but many more women died. You may disagree, but the women of this country will never go back to the days of being hostage to their biology. Birth control methods fail despite best efforts.

Answer by vthokie12

ABORTION IS A WOMAN’S CHOICE END OF DISCUSSION!

Answer by BhitchyPrincess

Abortion should NEVER be used as a means of birth control.

Rape, Incest, and possible death to the mother are the only reasons it should be considered.

Answer by jerzeygirl908

Here is the catch, many poor people cannot afford to have an abortion so they end up getting on a government funded health care program for their doctors visits and then once the child is born, guess what, if they couldn’t afford the doctor visits do you think they will be able to support that kid, so here we go again, government steps in to feed, cloth and educate the kid. Now, considering the environment this kid was born into, do you see the cycle. So while this situation breeds continuance, here goes the taxpayers money supporting these unwanted babies.

Yes many women get raped, abused, and are irresponsible… its disgusting to think that women use abortion as a form of birth control.. remember tho, it takes 2 to make a baby so while all of this is going on, where is the daddy?

The results of most (not all) of these unwanted children are they live in squalor, are abused, neglected, homeless, abandoned, unloved, in jail as they get older (tax payer funded of course) and repeat the lives in which their parents lived.

Adoption: with all of these children needing homes, why the fuck are celebrities going outside of the country to bring more kids here?! We have hungry kids here too! So don’t sit there saying that adoption is the answer because no one who lives here seems to want them. I’m happy to hear there are people around that are foster parents, thats great! But the amount of people that are stepping up taking care of these kids are few in comparison to the overwhelming demand (foster parents get money from the government btw). So if adoption is your answer, then go adopt one. Do something other then sitting there dictating your beliefs on someone else.

You bitch about keeping these unwanted babies then you bitch about supporting them…

Answer by WickedAngelBrokenWings

no child is involved in abortions. only an embryo or feoti. should the woman be punished by forced gestation just because her birth control failed? and yes, abortion IS birth control. not the most logical kind, but birth control none the less. consent to sex IS NOT consent to motherhood.

once again the thumbs down prove my point, that the pro-lifers are afraid of the truth.

- The Mother of All is Mother Earth (the female embodiment of nature).

- Although the poem obviously shows that war is horrific and destructive, the main theme is that death is not in itself an end. Instead, death becomes the fabric of the earth – and through nature, the soldiers continue to live.

- The poem only actually describes the battle scene in two lines (“Desperate on the torn bodies, on the forms covering the battlefields gazing, / (As the last gun ceased, but the scent of the powder-smoke

linger’d,)”) – although you could say that the later references to blood tells us something of the battle. The poem is, instead, Mother Earth crying out to the landscape to absorb the dead soldiers and their blood – and commanding nature to grant them eternal life.

Raise their hyeongjeeul some from childhood had someone psychological effects?

Problem by Desirae: What would be the psychological effect on someone who had to raise their siblings since they were a child?

I am 18 years old now and just graduated high school in June. Ever since I can remember I have always been the mother figure to my half brother since I was little. He was born when I was 5 and I have since then been a “mother” to him rather than a sister since my single mother always Worked to support us on our own.

Now my mother has had another child last year and I have been taking care of her. I bathe, feed, change, and do everything for her. I wake up with her and go to sleep with her. My whole day revolves around taking care of her. She is with me all day everyday. My mother and step father work long hours and come home to a house that I clean and have dinner made. Since I have graduated I had to quit college and my hopes to join the military or even get a job, to raise them both because my parents are “too busy” or “tired” to take on a parents responsibilities.

Lately I have been so frustrated and stressed that I have panic attacks when my parents argue and when I have to much to do or my siblings are away from me. In all I was wondering if this will have psychological effects on me when I get older or when I have children of my own.

This is now remarkable facts about What would be the psychological effect on someone who had to raise their siblings since they were a child? possibly should clear up concerns independantly. I hope this element helps in many ways: to create the way you live far better. Most practical answer:

Answer by k b

That really depends on a lot of things. In my case, it has made me not want children.

Answer by Neil

Well, you highlighted it really well, you can feel exploited, especially when you’re being taken for granted.

That can have a lingering effect, but doesn’t have to be.

Everything in life is perception, yes, you’re being exploited by your parents, part of that will be ‘functional’ my guess to a certain extent they need to work, part of that is just disrespectful(they chose this setup, ‘too tired’ is not a real excuse anymore, they shouldn’t have had any more kids, if they wanted more rest).

Remember that, because that’s the biggest risk, that you’ll develop this automated response of letting people exploit you, and there’s no need for that, you can expect something back for your time, and effort.

That’s also something you need to talk to your Mom about, in a calm factual manner(which is key, you want to take the ‘mature-lead’ here), explain to her, that you can’t keep this up, it’s breaking you, so they need to find another setup, one that is easier on you.

If she then ‘raises the stakes’(throws a tantrum)(not all adults are very mature, and from your description I’m kind of expecting a tantrum), emphasize that you’re not saying you don’t want to do anything, but they’re asking too much from you right now, you’re not ready to be a full-time Mom, and it would be cruel for them to ‘break you’ just because THEY had another baby.

As an instant relief tip, take 15-30 mins to listen to calming music, with your eyes closed, and just breathe(the sensation of relaxation you’re looking for is like your ‘floating through space’), do that once, or twice a day, and your mind will be a lot calmer.

Answer by Pheromones

I don’t believe there is a direct genetic encoding of such things. It most likely has to do with brain development. Humans do not get attached to their biological mother so much as the person who cares for them at a young age. There is probably a genetic component somewhere that influences this behavior, but it’s far too complex to be identifiable.

There is no statute in ANY state that requires this. The only way that could happen is through a court order in the form of injunctive relief.

Part of her may want to have a close relationship with you, but she may not know how to do it. She may be keeping information from you because she thinks it would hurt you or make you angry to know the truth.

I’d say keep up the relationship with your half sister, and any other family members you have met who seem willing. If nothing else, you need to get your family medical history.

Something safe for a 2 year old is top priority so make sure whatever you get is non-toxic and not a choking hazard.

At 2, they like anything textile. Finger paints are a heck of a lot of fun for a 2 year old (make sure they are washable and non-toxic…Crayola brand is formulated for kids). Just give him some paper and you’re good to go for ages. Very messy so if you live someplace warm, let him play outside. You’ll have the added fun of rinsing him off with the hose afterwards.

Of course, he’ll paint himself as well whether indoors or out and anything else he can reach, including you. LOL Lots of giggles for both him and you and many precious pictures to be taken and cherished for years to come.

Answer by Jenny

Every child is different. I usually stick with “generic toys” like Duplo blocks or play sets by Fisher Price. You can also go to the Toys R Us website, put in the age and gender, and it will show you some more options of toys for that age range.

As a step parent, you may also want to balance “What kids like” with “What the other parent doesn’t oppose to”.

Answer by Pat

Jenny is right.

Believe it or not, children are earthlings.

Do YOU like all the same stuff as everyone else your age?

Find out what he’s interested in.

How about a family membership in the local science center or children’s museum?

That will give you a chance to spend time with him, and get to know him as a person.

2yr olds like toys you can take apart and put back together, simple Lagos, shape boxes, stacking, nesting dolls (or for a boy nesting dinosaurs), or a little toddler bike or vehicle of some sort, and lastly anything similar to Tickle Me Elmo

That is aweful! Ovbiously they were ment to have this child. U don’t know how the baby could effect their life. Maybe there child would become there motivation to do better in life.

I know plenty of people on welfare and they are danm good mothers who put there child before everything. What gives you or anyone else the right to decide who should be “allowed” to have children.

Answer by Jill

Yes, please, because I don’t think the government has enough control over women’s reproductive rights as it is. They should be throwing women in jail for having an abortion, women who report that they miscarried should be subject to a thorough investigation to ensure the fetus died of natural causes, they should outlaw birth control, they should tell us which health care providers to use, and they should give every woman a personalized scheduled which details which days of the month she should be allowed to have sex with her husband (no sex for unmarried women, of course).

I’m with you! Sounds like a great plan!

Answer by Kate

Just because a mother is poor doesn’t mean they are a bad parent at all. They where put it some bad circumstances or maybe even made some pretty bad decisions. What welfare is designed to do is help these people with kids to feed them and eventually get off welfare and get a job. I realize there are people just getting by on welfare and making the system look bad. But why punish the good moms out there that just need some help. These “mothers” your referring to are in a sad state and they must really need some help and that all where trying to give them. They should not have to give up there baby! You can talk to a lot of successful people out there who were being supported on welfare growing up. where we just supposed to assume “oh shes poor and shes have a baby?” she must be a drug addict or something terrible. NO! maybe she just needs somebody to help her maybe she loves her baby and she wants to be a good mom. If a mom is able to keep her baby safe that’s great, America needs that there are already a lot of people trying to be adopted and i think adoption is great but if a mom wants to keep here baby with a little help God Bless her! And don’t even get me started on how wrong Abortion it! Sorry if i rambled but this it just makes me sick you can bunch people together like that there not all bad people on welfare. Hope this helped and God Bless you.

Answer by Mommy2be.3-25-12

Having children to stay on welfare is not the problem cause some times its hard to find a job and when you do get one child care is so darn expensive its hardly worth it.plus the.real problem is the people on welfare who trade food stamps for drugs and who can’t provide for there children because of the habit. And I dnt care who you are abortion is NEVER the answer.

As much as I’m for choice, I do wish sometimes that completely stupid/irresponsible women could have that choice taken from them. Mother and Child by Mary Cassatt

Look basically by Mother and Child by Mary Cassatt

Mother and Child, c. 1905 by Mary Cassatt, oil on canvas

Mother and Child represents a theme that Mary Cassatt often painted throughout her career as an artist. Creating complex, impressionistic lighting effects, a floor mirror reflects the scene in a hazy, indistinct manner.

The models for Mother and Child may have been neighbors of Cassatt’s near her country home outside of Paris. She often asked local women to sit for her, feeling that professional models posed self-consciously. For the sittings, Cassatt tended to dress the women in gowns she had bought from well-known Paris clothiers. As in most of her paintings, Cassatt does not glamorize or sentimentalize her subjects; instead she presents them as wholesome, attractive individuals.

When Cassatt painted Mother and Child she was at the height of her artistic success. She drew on her many years of experience, working with ease and assurance. She captured the varying effects of light: pure strokes of green and gold suggest the sun flooding the artist’s studio on a summer day, and glistening touches of pale yellow highlight hair, dress, and furniture.

You are a woman What do you call the bride?

Predicament from Lady: What do you call a female priest?

I’ve always had women priests at my church, but I’ve always struggled with what title to give them.

For male priests, some of them are warm and inviting. For them, the title “Father” fits. Others are very serious and conjure up great feelings of respect. I usually call them “Reverend.”

For women, however, I’ve just always had trouble calling them “Mother” as it usually feels too stiff. I normally call them “Reverend” and they go by it, but I was wondering if anyone had any other titles.

By the way, I’m Episcopalian.

My guess would be that the writers are trying to keep the language as universal as possible. Common speech differs with region.

Answer by Annie Kopliku

The reason why they all do this, is because shows, movies, and entertainment stuff isn’t just shown in the U.S. Its shown in many various places that speak fluent English, and not English that people speak everyday such as “Whaddup?” or “Mann Yu Be Trippin’ ” Script writers also want to make it accurate. But there ARE movies these days that don’t use ‘Mother’ instead of ‘Mom’

Of course there are many more, but none come to mind right now.

What is the title of the king’s father?

Subject basically by Dude24: What is the title of the father of a monarch?

Okay, so say Prince Phillip outlives his wife Queen Elizabeth. When Charles becomes king what would his father’s title be? The royal title of a King’s father would normaly be King (deceased) as the title King would only be passed down once the elder King had died. However, Where the King’s father had never been king due to being a consort or equivalent to a queen and the queen had died, then it would be the responsibility of the new monarch to decide on a title for their father.

Answer by nate

King

Answer by George

In this country, Britain, Prince Philip, the Queen’s husband would be known as Prince Philip,Duke of Edinburgh,,the same title he has now. God save the Queen.

Answer by Rico

Depends on how the monarch came to be first in line before accession, and/or his/her fathers title as consort.

Philip doesn’t have the title of Prince Consort, he only occupies the position. If he is alive when his son becomes king then he will remain HRH Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh.

If George I had succeded in The UK before he succeded in Hannover then his father would have remianed titled The Elector of Hannover

Mary II and Anne’s (of England and Scotland) father retained the title HM The King in the Jacobite claim but was refered to as His Majesty King James II from 1688 by the courts of England, Scotland and Great Britian

Henry Stuart, father of James VI* retained the title His Grace The King of Scots until his death in 1567.

Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, reverted back to that title from Prince Consort at his wifes abdication in 1980.

Answer by Josh

He actually is not Prince Consort only Victorias husband has had that title. He is a British price in his own right and holds several other titles including Duke of Edinburgh. He would probably use this.

Marriage bands can switch it offensive?

Predicament made by MicheleRN: Is it insulting to switch engagement bands?

I love my engagement ring, however I can’t seem to find a wedding band to match it. I was thinking about getting a matching set and put my original diamond in the new set. I then would use my original band and make a “mothers” ring out of it when we have kids. I ran this by my fiance and he seemed okay with it, as long as his money didn’t go to waste.

Is it bad for me to do this? I just can’t seem to find anything to match it. I’ve been to about 8 different jewelers.

Answer by Blondee {B2B 9.12.09}

Honestly it’s insulting to me and my fiance thinks so also. I would never get a new ring b/c I wasn’t able to find a band. I’ve never understood why women trade “up” their rings or trade their rings in at all…but that’s just me. Why don’t you just have one made? It’s a lot cheaper if you go to a reputable local jeweler…NOT a chain store. They can most likely make one for a good price to match your set. I wouldn’t buy a whole new one just because you can’t find a band.

Answer by Beautiful Bee

Well you can have something custom made, but no if you can’t find the right setting then change it, but keep the one you have just buy another one. this happen to me. i still kept the first ring we just looked for a 2piece set the second time

Answer by mahler1987

Many bands when bought separately just don’t fit perfectly together. My husband bought me a gorgeous marquise diamond surrounded with 6 little round diamonds and baguettes down each side of the ring. The following year he bought us matching anniversary bands. They don’t fit perfectly together, but well enough to look good together.

I do think it’s tacky to change the ring your fiancee obviously picked out for you himself.

How children sleep in his bed and to sleep without a problem What should I do?

Issue from odd duck: How do you get children to sleep in their own bed and to sleep without problems?

K.. I have this friend who has 2 kids, ages 3 and 1. They share a room, and they won’t go to bed at night. Sometimes they keep her up until after 1 in the morning. I told her to just put them in their room and don’t let them out, but her oldest will lay and bang on the door so much that he has almost broke it. He has other behavior problems, and doesn’t listen to anything she says. The youngest is just following his brother. But she also will wake up with them in her bed. She’s almost divorced, and she has full custody of the kids, so she is the only one that is taking care of them. She’s at her wits end with their sleeping habits. She is pretty much ready to give up and just let them sleep where they fall. I don’t know how to tell her that it’s all about her parenting style, but how do I say that without making her feel like I’m accusing her of being a “bad mother”? I don’t know what to tell her to help. Any suggestions?

k.. a little more background on this. They lived with us for almost 3 months. The kids bedtime routine is this: she puts them in the living room, puts on a movie, then she sits on the computer until the movie is over and then she tries to put them in bed. Of course they won’t stay with that kind of bedtime routine. I’ve tried to tell her this, but she doesn’t get it. My kids are so easy to put to bed, but we have a set bedtime, and we tell them that bedtime is coming so they are aware of it. Yes, there are nights when they cry and won’t go to sleep for a while, but even my oldest doesn’t get up anymore and try to come out of her room. Her oldest is very hard to deal with. He hits her, bites her, kicks her and laughs at her when she spanks him. He won’t listen and he screams this high pitched scream when ever he doesn’t get what he wants. consistency and loving firmness is the key to a successful parenting experience. lights out means lights out. Its at the same time every night and no exceptions. If the child gets up put them back to bed immediately without fail. Reward them for going to bed with a Good night ritual that includes a kiss or caress. It will take 3 weeks or a month of this regime to get the desired result to become automatic

Answer by River Girl

I never had that problem, since my children have always slept in their own beds, from day 1.

sleep training starts from 4 weeks old. she has no control over these kids. tell her to call supernanny.

Answer by Douglas D

Have you ever watched Supernanny on TV?

She has a great method for getting kids to go to bed quietly, & in their own beds as well. It only takes a couple of nights of methodical perseverance, & I highly recommend it for your friend.

Somewhere along the line, the eldest child got the message that HE is boss.

It is time for her to take some parenting classes and get her power back.

Maybe between she and her husband, they undermined one another’s authority prior to this separation, and the child learned that he can have his way while watching the parents disagree on discipline?

She also needs to make sure the children get plenty of exercise and fresh air during the day, rock them to sleep (it works with some kids) and then put them to bed.

NO caffeine before bedtime either … no soda.

Answer by sweetbahama mama

well every time they carry on bad to go 2 bed spank them and tell them its time to sleep, try setting a bed time and stick 2 it. say 8pm. wen that times comes try putting them in bed , read them a few stories and if they are still not sleepy after a a playful bath and a few stories then lye down with them and play sleep , be very quiet and see what happens, if that dont work then let stay in front of the tv or play until they sleep then put them in bed.

Answer by ~Nicole~

She needs to 1st do something about the one that keeps banging on the door. Get a night light. That should help them.

Answer by mybabiescea

I saw this done on nanny 911. put the child in thier bed, say goodnight then look at the floor go and sit in the middle of the room on the floor and don’t look up, if the child gets outta bed get up, pick them up put them back and go sit back down never look at them, don’t say a word, every time they get up repeat, after awhile they’ll get the point and stay in bed, it may take a few nights but it does work, don’t give up

Answer by evillama4eva

I think if she put the youngest to bed in her room 4 a time untill she can get the 3 year old to go to bed without a fight it would help her out alot. Now with the 3 year old she may need to look and see if maybe the seperation could be the cause of his problems and find some way to get him under control ( i know easier said then done) but i honestly think if she only has to deal with one screamin lil boy she will have an easier time dealing and maybe after the 3 year old gets the 1 year old going they feed off each other it might just mean spliting them up for a little while or even puttin the oldest to bed first ( he seems to be the one starting this whole thing at night) then once he’s asleep if the youngest will go to bed without crying then just put him down after or something along those lines. Tell her you know she’s going through a really hard time and you want to help her because you hate seeing her so stressed out over her little guys and the stress of the divorce. Let her know you may have a way to help .. n if you can offer her a night out or even stay with her 4 a night n help her gets some sleep

Bill Cosby and my parents said it best!!!! A kid sleeps better after a good hard woopin’n for not going to bed and following the rules after taking a bath

Answer by Fallen Angel

My suggestion is that when you go visit her, talk to her and very casually mention to her that you see her tired and what not (something like that) and if you can help with anything. If she dishes out that she’s having trouble with her kids then give her some suggestions like reading to them in their room or to do some kind of activity before going to sleep like pick up toys or clothes or whatever if she says it doesn’t work then she may need to see a behavioral specialist to check for hyperactivity and maybe recommend medication to control that.

Answer by Shaza_b

bar one these people replying are horrible!! Supernany is not an answer you’re looking for.

Someone (mother, friend, someone close to eldest child) needs to calming explain to eldest child “tonight you are going to be a big boy(?) and sleep in your bed so you can grow big and strong like (someone big n strong without Sleep should problem children How children sleep in his bed and to sleep without a problem What should I do? httptigermotherplot blogspot com )” Use this as just a little remider for child. If child protest only from reminder COMPLETELY IGNORE, LEAVE ROOM< CHANGE SUBJECT, REDIRECT BEHAVIOUR ELSEWARE

Having some sort of rouitine in place prior to bedtime works wonders. Like bath, brush teeth, read book, lights out works for my 2 yrs old boy. Making bed time fun and not making a huge fuss over it works.

It take 2 weeks for a child to adapt to a new concept, and the first week is usually horrible with tantrums etc. Just remember 2 weeks is not a very long time.

Let them sleep with her. What is the big deal? Thats what they want so why fight it? They are only small, why is it such an issue with western people. You all want everything seperate. My daughter is 6 and still sleeps in the middle of my wife and I. I love the feeling of her little feet on me in the mornings. If she had a bad dream, we are there to tell her its ok. She has a beautiful bedroom with all her furniture from pottery barn kids ( my wife had to have it) and has not slept in her room once! we are happy because our daughter feels safe and comfortable. Why would you want them to feel isolation?

Answer by Joanie G

She will have major problems down the line if she continues to allow the kids to act this way at bedtime. If she is limited to just the two bedrooms, then she should allow the 3 yr old to have his own room and put the crib in her room. Bed time should be the same time every night – no exceptions 7-8 p.m. Toddlers need routines! EX: Dinner, watch one cartoon, potty, bath, brush teeth, pajamas, then read book. My husband and I have bought my 3 1/2 yr old a night light and a lantern that he can turn on and off. He gets to choose which book to read. Now he likes either me to read to him or he likes to (pretend) to read to me. He too has some behavior issues. But we make him think that he is in control. And if all else fails, tell her to watch Nanny 911 or Supernanny.

Miranda, I sympathize with you. It is difficult to tell someone that they need some help with their parenting skills. But perhaps you could help out one Saturday by finding her a babysitter for a few hours and take her to lunch. Have a heart felt conversation that first lets her know that you care and are on her side. Let her know that you understand how much stress she has been under with her marriage and the dissolution thereof.

There are several things that will help her with this.

First make sure that she keeps them on a schedule. Childrens’ bodies adapt to a schedule and it becomes a very comforting thing that helps them to feel secure about their life. Their little bodies start to adjust and just seem to know that hmmm it’s close to dinner time.

If she creates a schedule that will include a nice rigorous play time when she gets home from work. this will help to get their energy spent. Then dinner time, making sure they have a nice hot balanced meal. (NO SUGAR of any kind.) Later they can have a nice warm bath…they make a great bubble bath and bath soap with Lavender in it that helps to calm. Then maybe a story before bed. Then they are off to la la land. And if she makes this a ritual every single night….the same thing at the same time they begin to expect what is going to happen at what time and they start to respond to that. It is very comforting for a child to know what is coming next….something they can count on. Oh don’t get me wrong they are going to buck and fight in the beginning….so warn her. But if she continues to respond to them each and every time with a soothing tone of voice and a gentle explanation but be firm that they WILL…UNDER EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE sleep in their own bed. Perhaps she could get them some special sheets or a really cool lamp that glows in the dark. Something unique to their room and then she can weave a story around that item and sort of make it a game…so that they want to sleep in that room. There are lots of books out there but I have gleaned a lot of this from experience . The fact is that she started the whole thing herself when she first allowed them to sleep in her bed. And it’s ok for you to let her know in a gentle way that you have heard about that and explain to her that she will have to be painfully diligent about returning them to their room each and every time. The reason they come in there is because the don’t have that sense of security. And the only security they know while going through this divorce is being close to mom. But it is a crucial time for her to make a change…especially while this is happening. It will assure them even more that she will always be there for them no matter what. And they don’t have to sleep with her. Stay on a schedule…it’s the only way.

Answer by etcha sketch

Parents sometimes think it is best for the child NOT to know things. My philosophy is: If a child is old enough to form a question, then they are old enough to hear the true answer. I think you need to explain to your parents that you ask questions for a reason…so that you can know the truth about things and so that you do not become “blindsided” about realities. I do not agree with your parents to tell you you are albino (even if you are 4yo and asking). This is a topic that never should be lied about. Some answers should be truthful, but “age appropriate”. THIS is NOT one of them in my opinion. I would struggle too, but I am sure i would keep trying to keep the door open to them so that they are able to come to the realization that “the truth” is ALWAYS the best policy. people are not always on the same “page” or read at the same pace. Give them time. You do not wanna be held responsible for closing the door on them do you? You do not want THAT on your conscience. Keep looking within you self to find ways to forgive them for lieing to you. ASK them why. Engage them in conversation about it so that ALL of you can come to a “happy medium” about it. I WAS a sick individual. Mental! I could not raise them properly, and knew that. I was @least of right mind to know this, and sign them over to people who were able and willing to care for them properly. I did it FOR their BEST interest. I hope someday when they are older, and more wiser, that they will be able to @least acknowledge me, and maybe even talk a little to me…..idk, forgive me? I am hoping.

Please think about what their reasons may be and ask. I am almost positive they do not want it on THEIconscienceses’ that they did not give you the opportunity to forgive them.

There Roe vs. Wade, from special events to commemorate the slaughter of 49 million by the DNC for?

Real question from August For President: Will there be a special ceremony by the DNC,to celebrate the 49 million slaughtered since Roe vs Wade?

Seems like supporting and fighting for the right to slaughter more human beings than Hitler, would be something the DNC would want to celebrate at the Convention. It is after all, apparently one of their most important beliiefs, their belief in the right of any “mother” to slaughter her unborn infant.

Forcing abortion on teens is unethical. You know what I am talking about so don’t pretend it never happens, liberals. Parents, friends, and guidance councilors are notorious for talking young girls into doing this.

Answer by Damien Benson

LOL! I’m pretty sure abortion started before Roe v Wade. It’s one of the world’s oldest medical procedures and the concept of the pharmacy started with cataloging and marketing birth control. Even Hippocrates, the guy behind the Hippocratic Oath, researched methods to induce miscarriage.

Celebrating abortion would be celebrating medicine itself.
