Subject courtesy of Jamie Jackson: Who is the mother on: How I Met Your Mother?

I believe that stella is the mother because in the episode (No Tomorrow) about ST. Patricks day ted says “And kids this is where I met your mother”. But at the end of the episode he says that “It turns out your mother was there but I just didn’t meet her”. And in the following episode when he meets stella for the tatoo removal she tells him at the last out of 10 appointments about her daughter and says she hasn’t been to a party except for ST. Patricks day. So this is why I think she is the mother. Does anybody else think this could be possible?

Answer by Shadow Puppets
It’s not Stella for a few reasons. I hope I dont want to give anything away cause I dont know how far you are into the seasons. But I can tell you this.

The mother is in the classroom on his first day teaching, where he is in the wrong class.

I think she made a short appearance on his lucky day episode. He goes to a bar with Barney and they get free drinks and stuff. He bumps into a woman and they give way too long of a pause in the scene before she walks away. She looks like she could be the mother. Later in that episode he says that she was at that party that night.

All I can say is they need to reveal her soon. Im getting impatient!

What is the shadow in the mirror?

tigermotherplot.blogspot.com ® What is the shadow in the mirror?

Concern created by Ima Cuchu: What were those shadows in the mirror?

My “mother” left her dresser in her old room at the trailer when she left. It has a mirror built in. She used to talk to herself in it. We caught her early one morning and she said she was talking to her dad. He shot himself a couple of years before. My cousin started sleeping back there after she left, since his mom preferred the couch to the mattress and it was the only other room with cable. When I graduated, they invited me to come live with them while I looked for a job. I’d sleep on the floor next to his mattress. Every night we would see shadows moving in the mirror. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but when he told me he saw them too we covered it with a blanket. I think it’s still covered to this day.

This is actually info on What were those shadows in the mirror? possibly will need to fix concerns for their own reasons. Now this helps in lots of ways… and making the way you live better. Thinking info on What were those shadows in the mirror? is likely to be a fix in the foreseeable future.

Answer by Captain Sarcastic
Reflective distortions from a cheap mirror coupled with excessively credulous kids.

Seems pretty obvious to me.

Answer by Chase
Is the dresser by a window it could have just been shadows of a tree relfecting in the mirror. Maybe your mom… had some problems and it’s getting to you and your cousins and you think your seeing her dad maybe. But yea I hater to say it but it’s most likely something paranormal if your mom says she would speak to her dad in it and then you start seeing shadows in it thats just plain creepy. Talk to God about it you gotta be carful with things like that. you never know it could even be something else claiming to be her dad but isn’t. I’m sayng it could be maybe an evil spirit trying to draw you mother closer to it. Talk to God and EVERYTHING will be fine. Good luck hope this helps.

Answer by Chuck
I think the family can take care of those issues.

I know you have a lot of genuine concern for this family so please tell us where you are sending your words of kindness and donation.

Looking forward to your follow up.

Answer by Chevalier
Since the rise of feminism and other liberal ideologies the value on the family and particularly the father have been intentionally devalued.

Take child support for example. When a divorce occurs usually the mother gets custody and the father gets the financial responsibility.

So in essence money is more important than fathers. And to prove my point I ask you to think about this.

If fathers were more important than money then why are fathers put in jail when they can’t afford to pay?

Now women tend to get custody because they are allegedly the primary care givers. Which means that time with the kids is more important than the income the father brings in.

So if time with children is so important for children then why are fathers routinely only allowed four days a month with their children?

So basically the government is saying that money is more important than fathers but time is more important than money when it comes to deciding custody while denying time to fathers.

It all equates to the under valuing of fathers which leads to the absence of fathers in the lives of children.

Again, how do you handle the terrible customer?

tigermotherplot.blogspot.com ® Again, how do you handle the terrible customer?

Query from Anonymousgirl: How do I handle this awful customer again?

I work as a front greeter and the other day a lady came in who seemed nice enough. Little did I know, everything she had to say was racist, and then she started telling me that she “could be my mother” because we are from related, but distant ethnic backgrounds. She then told me who I’m allowed to marry and date and who I’m not allowed to. THEN, she goes off and says how much she hates Americans and then acts all sweet to my coworkers, who are all white!

This lady came in again a day ago and was very upset because in truth, she failed to take the necessary steps to ensure that she’d have a room (I’m in a hotel). We were nice and apologized and tried to explain to her what happened, however she became irate and then kept telling me that I should know better. And then she kept calling me “her kid”. Seriously this woman is imbalanced– we all think so along with the manager (who had to set her straight). How do I deal with her again, this is my last week? I’ll attack her! What do I do?

This lady also called us all liars and claimed that because she took a psychology class, she could see right through us. And then she keeps calling me “honey” and then tried to escalate the situation into something a lot worse. The first time I met her, she revealed a lot of her personal life to me which was really inappropriate and then kept telling me that because we’re of similar backgrounds, I needed to listen to her and do what she says. No offense, but I already have a mother. This lady was really stressful to deal with. And then she went so far as to tell me to break off my engagement with my fiance because he’s a different ethnicity, because “it was for my own good”.

How am I supposed to “let it go” when last night as I was leaving, she tried to follow me to my car? The manager stopped her by pretending to need to ask her a question. Seriously this lady really needs help.

She was the one to ask me if I was engaged because I’m wearing a ring– what was I suppose to do, lie? I didn’t answer her question when she asked me what his race was, but that was enough to get her to assume.

you have only got a week to go

just suffer it once more, dont kill her you never know she might be a under cover customer, trying to see how well you cope with her

do your work collegues know how you feel and that you have nothing to do with her

part of your job (unfortunately) is to put up and shut up, just let her get on with her obviously unhappy life, if she was happy she would leave you alone

best wishes

Pick up a few phrases in a foreign language and pretend you don’t understand english. Have a co-worker in on the plan and ready to step up to bat while you play the poor foreign worker with no english.

Answer by Steph
I agree, you should just let it go. You don’t have to keep dealing with her since this is your last week. There are some really unbalanced people out there and this lady is definitely one of them! Just thank your lucky stars that she’s not your mom!

I know these people are hard to deal with, just keep your chin up!

Answer by lil ole me
First off, stay calm, stay cool and YOU can remain in CONTROL. When she starts up again, I would reiterate to her that 1 … I am not your “kid” and 2 … I am not your “honey” … explain in simple terms that you are trying to work with her to meet her needs, if she continues to be a royal pain … refer her to management … that’s what they get paid the big bucks for … DON’T put yourself in a bad situation … because by allowing yourself to get too involved leads to nowhere but trouble. And who needs that?

Answer by DrIG
Do not attack her.

You stated that this was your last week. You probably will never see her again.

Look for the good side in people, although in this case if may be hard to find. believe it or not, at least at certain times she was trying to be your friend and to help you.

Learn not to take certain things so seriously. You do not see this “lady” at school or a t home. Take it as the rantings of a person who means nothing to you.

Forget about it.

Answer by Tamara K
You only have one week left, so you want to be able to leave the job gracefully.

I would just try to gracefully push her through the steps. Like if you walk her up to the front desk, keep walking, don’t stop. If you are supposed to be taking her reservation and she starts to get irate, just smile and say “I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’ll be able to help you with this. Let me get the manager.” And then let him/her deal with it. Try not to agree with her, just look at her blankly, and when she pauses, say I’m sorry we’re so busy today, what can I do for you right now? Polite but firm. Treat it like a crazy TV show you can tell funny stories about later!

Answer by Orchideye
You’re absolutely right, this lady DOES need help. And it’s rather stupid that she thinks you’ll go along with what she says because you’re of a similar heritage– I hate it when people do that.

I do agree with one poster who said to tell her next time that you aren’t her “honey” or her “kid”. Who does this lady think she is? First of all, it’s understandable that everyone has bad days and partially rants and takes them out on inappropriate people and circumstances. What’s NOT appropriate is extending to the point of what this lady is doing. I could totally understand if you had said she ranted and then said she had a bad week and so forth, but it doesn’t look like she did that.

You know what, I think you are allowed to defend yourself mentally and physically. I work in mental health and unfortunately a lot of people can get like this and I’m not afraid to defend myself appropriately as needed. Everytime she goes off on you, what I would do is interrupt her and tell her she needs to do something. For instance, if she is checking in, interrupt her each time and say “oh I’ll need you to do this, thanks” or “oh you gotta sign here”.

Just because you are doing this lady a service does not mean she gets to disservice you. Next time she rants, ask her if there’s something you can help her with, and if there isn’t, tell her if she doesn’t need help, you have work to get done. Don’t let her ruin your last week.

Answer by redvelvetflames4ever
I have to assume you did have a conversation with this woman since she knows your fiance is of a different ethnic group so you opened up that can of worms. Other than that the fact you have only one week left at this place (thank goodness) you won’t have to deal with her much longer. Obviously your manager did step in to your defense (I’m shocked and pleased since that is unheard of in your industry.) The fact she actually tried to follow you to your car is really disturbing and I would threaten to call the police. No need to attack her and since your manager is obviously on your side I would excuse myself and walk away. It’s not job related right? So no need to entertain anything she has to say.

Answer by Great Scott
Inform her the next time she says or does anything even remotely threatening you will call the police and file for a restraining order.

My boyfriend has severe anger issues and I think he has schizophrenia or schizophrenic tendencies because he revealed to me that he hears voices sometimes. But he does not want to see a therapist. He had a therapist in high school for his anger and really aggressive behavior. And he has had bouts of serious depression that have lasted for a few years.

BQ: He is a friend of my brother’s. I met him because he would come to my house a lot to hang out with him and we were at the same high school.

BQ: I was 14 when we met. I am 19 now.

BQ: He was always pretty quiet. He makes a lot of sexual jokes. I had not seen him angry until I got in a relationship with him, but I have heard stories. He has been in a few fights. He attempted to break a guys neck and throw him into traffic in high school. In middle school, he round-house kicked a guy in the face and broke his nose. He was arrested once for making a joking note to rape a girl in high school. It was one of his friends, and she knew he was joking, but a teacher found it and that’s why he needed to go to therapy.

BQ: It’s still working now. He’s less aggressive than he used to be. We have been together for over a year.

BQ: Yea.

BQ: I don’t think of it as mothering. When he is angry, he often needs help being regulated. And I don’t mind talking to him and remaining calm when he is angry. I want to help him, so it’s never a bother.

BQ: I admire him. I am proud that he is doing better than before. A lot of people have said that I have changed his behavior in many positive ways. He’s a lot happier now than he was before he met me.

It’s really hard to say without anymore details.

Of course it is possible & it’s happens probably more often than you’d think.

Answer by Pretty brown eyez
um it happens all the time u might be suffering from supressed or repressed memories(not sure which term). Your mother may of course deny it cause she does not know of it happening. You may need to seek therapy to figure out if its true or not.

Answer by Katie C
i think i would need more info than that to help u out, but repressed memories are common enough if it happened when u were small

maybe a sichiatrist?

Answer by plumpers.com
your ugly ass? i think not

Answer by Rachel W
Honey i would be very stren with telling your mom that let her know that u do think its real and your scared and you need her help. if she doesnt help you then, then i would go tell the cops (personally thats just me but ya) dont be afraid to tell them that u think that you were abusid as a child…

And with your mom, if she says its an accedent then it might have been, but if you think it wasnt deff tell the cops that to!

I hope all is well!

Rachel!

i think it is possible i’ve been kinda questioning tha same thing myself with another relative in my family except it wasn’t a sexual abuse but on a smaller level and the only reason why i know it’s true is b/c i remember it as a little girl…ppl tried to tell me that such a thing never happened but they didn’t know shit…i believe it most likely is true,u can’t trick kids u know? ppl remember things on the other hand u could’ve had a bad dream and think it might’ve been true…?

Answer by Shayluvchina
yes it is possible

sometimes with the mind you tend to repress memories until maybe one day

you are just doing your usual thing and someting that you look at, smell or hear can remind of of certain memoried that you wouldnt remember any given day.

and i was molested by my step father when i was 4-7

and sometimes i totolly forget that it happend to me

until something reminds me of it.

and if it never happened it could probably be a fear of getting sexually abused becuase i remeber having weird memories like going to england as a little girl but it never happened it was just a dream i had that was so realistic and it made its way into my “reality memory bank”

i really hope this helps answer your question some how.

Answer by Jacob
wtf…how do I answer something like this…Maybe you got amnesia at some point in your childhood.

Answer by MICHAEL P
This is an awful thing to have to wrestle with and I cannot imagine the anguish that it is giving you. Yes, it is possible as it happens more than people realise. But unless you have firm memories that you can categorically quote, you may be best served getting on with your life and not searching the past. Everyone has skeletons, some worse than others, but tomorrow can always be a better day. Whatever the truth, you have to handle this as an adult and choose a happy life or worry over things that will never happen again. Take care …

Answer by Simple&Sweet
r u seriouse????? omg am sorry to hear that

Tell someone you really trust in your family

Answer by applesalamanderpie
Maybe at 4-7 you knew it was going on, but the memories of this are so painful & scarey you have supressed it. You should get into therapy. My dtr. was almost 4 when I found out. She is now 21 & is in denia. Even to the point of having her 3 girls 1-4 around him(not alone, but shouldnt anyways). She makes me feel awful, I protected her & her brother & now they are 19 & 21, they have all contact w/him & treat me terribly. This is why some moms dont want to deal w/it. If I had to do it all over again, I would still have him go t prison. My kids are in this fantasy that this is now & that was then. Go to therapy because there’s a chance you will marry a child molester or have some other kind of catastrophie in years to come. Good luck! Dont be afraid, you are a strong survivor.

4. Teachers praise him all the time. They tell his mother “He’s the nicest kid in the school”

5. He wears glasses and braces

6. Doesn’t talk to girls; yet they’re always coming to him, playing with him (leading him on)

Will he get beat up in a bad school?

I doubt it, but I cannot say there’s not a chance, anyone ANYONE could get beat up at a bad school, and from the looks of it he seems really nice, so i don’t think this is something to worry about, just address it if need be

Answer by Aj
not in any school I have ever been to. If he doesn’t cause any problems with other students, he should be fine. I do not find any of those quality as bad, tell him to stay who he is but try to keep his head up to come off as a little more confident if he can. Hope this helps!

Answer by Sterling
To Be Honest YES ! it is and the reasons why is because teachers praise him first off yes because other students do get jealous if he doesn’t have any friends they THINK that he is a looser or if he’s always alone like you say. Very Quiet and shy being to yourself at school and being shy they will THINK that he is this wimpy kid that can not fight and is scared.

And i’m keeping it real I myself was victim of bullying and just now recovering from it. And bullying hurts it really does that same kid he is, i was shy, quiet don’t have many friends got name called by everyone in the school sat alone no one act like they wanted to be my friend i wore glasses and i think i was huge target of bullying. And i had some weight on me at that time until i developed a mild eating disorder.

So, it can play alot of parts now some shy kids don’t get bullied, and I don’t see why people even bully other people for being themselves. I mean they have some high school students at my school now wears braces glasses quiet and shy some of them get picked on and some of them don’t it just depend son the type of kids or people he is around. And the girls part they will probally think he is gay (NO OFFENSE) because girls come to him and like to be around him. And you already know other guys will get jealous of him TRUST ME i’ve been there.

But just tell him to be himself ! and it will all work out !

GOODLUCK !

Personally i dont think Barney would be happy… Joey would say something stupid like Barney has had plenty of one night stands or he would accidentley charm the girls himself and bring them home…. I think Barney and Joey would be more of rivals trying to pick up chicks rather then them trying to get eachother chicks

Answer by Sam
That would be awesome !!!

Joey has the looks but Barney has the brains AND the looks so he would conquer all

Love Barney to death, but I hope he winds up with Robin

also, if you’re looking for theories on whos the mother: http://slapbetcommisioners.blogspot.com/ is my blog
