He was arrested once for making a joking note to rape a girl in high school. It was one of his friends, and she knew he was joking, but a teacher found it and that’s why he needed to go to therapy.

BQ: I don’t think of it as mothering. When he is angry, he often needs help being regulated. And I don’t mind talking to him and remaining calm when he is angry. I want to help him, so it’s never a bother.
