Question basically by Rancid Stench of BO: Why does media refer to the mother & “grandfather” of the kid beaten in Chicago but not the real dad?
(That “grandfather” is not the kids’ real grandfather.)
How does 0bama know which adult male to pay his condolences too? Was there some kind of scientific breakthru in Chicago so that a male isn’t needed to create a child?
However this is concerning Why does media refer to the mother & “grandfather” of the kid beaten in Chicago but not the real dad? that you could be compelled to clear up difficulties ourselves. Answer by Kevin B. Where have you been the last 20 years?
In case you were not aware, many mothers in America choose to raise their children without the father, or the father may have left them. It isn’t 1950 anymore, dude.
Answer by Tina perhaps
- His father is dead
- His father left before, when he was born, or some time after.
- His father might not want media attention.
Answer by How do you like me now? Haven’t you ever heard of a Turkey Baster?L.O.L.He will kneel down and pay his condolences to the Baster.
Answer by scaerdrys That breakthrough is called the one night stand…It’s probably among the top ways that people in Chicago reproduce.
Peace
Answer by ursaitaliano70 Yes, you are correct. Kids in Chicago are created either by parthenogenesis , cloning or immaculate conception.
Answer by eazyeee888 Because now there are mass amounts of single mothers whos kids turn out to be criminals and wastes of spaces because they had no guidance and no father figure.
Answer by JW B A child was savagely beaten to death. It is too bad that people feel they must politicize it rather than respecting his family in a time of mourning. Should something like this tragedy befall those people, I hope that others will respect their families more than they are respecting this childs.
Answer by Bob This is Utopia. Have fun, live your life, don’t let anyone else hold you back. Stick your hand out, and all will be provided to you. You don’t owe anything to anybody, everybody owes something to you.
Answer by glenn b Come on now you can’t be serious about that question .You are going to get labeled a raciest.
Answer by buy ford FATHERS ARE HARD TO FIND
Answer by Locutus In Chicago they just don’t know who the father is. Obama might just be the latest not the Daddy of Michele’s girls.
Answer by Chuck I think the family can take care of those issues.
I know you have a lot of genuine concern for this family so please tell us where you are sending your words of kindness and donation.
Looking forward to your follow up.
Answer by Chevalier Since the rise of feminism and other liberal ideologies the value on the family and particularly the father have been intentionally devalued.
Take child support for example. When a divorce occurs usually the mother gets custody and the father gets the financial responsibility.
So in essence money is more important than fathers. And to prove my point I ask you to think about this.
If fathers were more important than money then why are fathers put in jail when they can’t afford to pay?
Now women tend to get custody because they are allegedly the primary care givers. Which means that time with the kids is more important than the income the father brings in.
So if time with children is so important for children then why are fathers routinely only allowed four days a month with their children?
So basically the government is saying that money is more important than fathers but time is more important than money when it comes to deciding custody while denying time to fathers.
It all equates to the under valuing of fathers which leads to the absence of fathers in the lives of children.

Main issue merely by Rosie: What is it with mother who just don’t want to be mother anymore? Why did they have kids?
Ok my step son has to do everything himself, he wants to eat he pulls food out of the freezer (yeah he eats only frozen dinners), he set’s his own bedtime, he get’s himself up and off to school, does his own laundry and it is his responsibility to make sure his homework gets done, it has been this was for a little over a year and he just turned 13.
My ex-step sister has her kids (ages 10 & 8) clean the house, do the laundry, don’t help then with school work, they set their own bed time, and they are currently potty training their younger brother (age 3), they change all the diapers when they are home – sibling’s are 3 and 1 year.
To me it just sounds like these kids are just raising themselves or is it just me? Why have kids if you don’t want to take care of them??
I really don’t think these mother do anything but put a roof over their kids head and give them a bed to sleep in….what happened to being a “mother”?
However this is guidance on What is it with mother who just don’t want to be mother anymore? Why did they have kids? may will want to solve dilemmas for their own reasons. Optimistically it will aid in lots of ways: which will create the way you live much better. Wishing guidance on What is it with mother who just don’t want to be mother anymore? Why did they have kids? might possibly be a resolution from now on. Optimum solution:
Answer by lj1 It sounds like they are just plain lazy. It is fine to ask your older kids for a little help with the younger ones sometimes, but they shouldn’t be expected to do everything.
Answer by lisaanndubay call child pretivite services on her
Answer by sara b In the case of the 13-year old, I can understand giving him some responsibility. But, he is doing too much for a child his age. He will feel anxious, neglected, and his grades will probably suffer if this keeps up. Also, he will be more likely to fall in with a bad crowd since he is being given so much freedom and no oversight.
As for the younger kids, that is just very sad. It sounds like the parents are lazy, overworked, negligent, or apathetic. Whatever the reason, someone should call social services to make a few house calls. That might scare them into being actual parents.
ALSO I’m not so sure it is all the mother’s fault. What happened to the FATHER’s duties to care for and discipline his children, also? After all, he had half of the responsibility in creating the children, he does not get off the hook. I think BOTH parents are responsible.
Answer by Shelly F It’s good to teach kids responsibility and to let them help with the things you mention but your ex step sister is going Way overboard, she IS just letting the children raise themselves. She needs to grow up and start taking responsibility instead of putting it all on her children.

Request by NOBODY: step daughters social security card and birth certificate have been confiscated by her mother?
My daughters mother insisted on taking her for her drivers learning permit test. We’ve had problems with her mother in the past, but encourage as much “mother/daughter” time as possible. We gave our daughter (16 years of age) her social security card and birth certificate. She never made it to the DMV… but her mother is refusing to return the documents. We can easily get her new documents, but are a bit concerned that her mother “stole” these items from her. Is there any we can get these documents out of her possesion?
I have adopted this child when she was 3. She IS my daughter and my responsibility. Her mother does not have ANY rights to my daughter. NONE. She’s on parole for welfare fraud and by stealing my daughters social security card i fear identity theft. IS THERE NOTHING I CAN DO?
That is certainly needed to know about step daughters social security card and birth certificate have been confiscated by her mother? which you may reason to fix situations independently. Hopefully you like this element helps in many ways, and help make yourself greater. Praying needed to know about step daughters social security card and birth certificate have been confiscated by her mother? will be a treatment inside the foreseeable future. Best solution:
Answer by car05161967 The only one that can do that, is you step-daughter.
Answer by LadyCatherine since the person is under 18. the mom did NOT steal these from her, im not say what she did was wrong,
with divorced parents, each parent should have a copy of the child’s birth certificate and SS card, this makes things easier..
Answer by Toodeemo Without getting into whatever is going on in the family and all that, this is not your child. You have no legal right to make determinations of any kind unless there is a court order that says so. Of course, her father does have those rights. But don’t get yourself in a legal battle that YOU can’t win. Whatever you do, make sure he handles it. Unfortunately, parents do stuff like this to kids. It’s a power play most of the time. And what nobody really wants is for the Court to get involved. Very seldom does anyone win in that situation. The girl is 16. In two years, none of this will be a legal issue. I suggest you take the high road here and just try to make her get through the two years without having to deal with the battle. Of course, if you feel the child is in any kind of abusive or physical danger from the mom, that’s an entirely different story. But it doesnt sound that way.
EDIT: Good. I’m glad you adopted her. That is not usually the case, so that’s why I raised the issue. The “mother” may be in contempt of court for taking the documents. I would go to probate or family court where the adoption order was granted and make a motion for her to return the documents. I believe the judge will grant that on the grounds that misuse of the documents could cause confusion for the girl. Also, and I don’t mean to alarm you, it would make it easier for her to take the girl under the veil of legitimacy. I think you have more than enough grounds to file this motion and have it granted.
Fully grasp much better?

Challenge written by Adopting Parent: Can maternity leave be used for the adoption of a child?
We live in PA and we are being told that my wife is not eligible for paid maternity leave because we are adopting a child. The HR department says maternity leave only applies to the birth of a child. My contact in my HR department and our adoption agency is saying that maternity is defined as the “act of becoming a mother” and the state of PA and federal government do not distinguish between the birth and adoption of a child. Can someone give me somewhere to find information to prove this? Thanks.
Truly is facts about Can maternity leave be used for the adoption of a child? that you will requirement to fix problems without any help. Confidently this’ll help in several ways: and then make your own life much better. Dreaming facts about Can maternity leave be used for the adoption of a child? will probably be the most effective results when you need it. Best answer:
Answer by Ernest My would they give her leave for that. By that logic I should be able to take a leave to go pick up someones trash they do not want. Which is what you are doing.
Answer by H****** If she did not give birth, she has no need for a postnatal recovery period
Answer by Susan Research your state laws because from what I remember here in Ohio, my husband was allowed to take leave when we adopted our daughter. It’s not about recovering after birth – it’s about bonding with a child without interruptions. Do not let this go with your wife’s company because it sounds like they aren’t being totally truthful. If you’re already working with an adoption attorney, this would be a great question for them.
Answer by Every set of maternity leave rules are different.
Answer by cricketlady It probably depends on the state—here you can.
Answer by Candj315 In NY fathers can take a maternity leave… why shouldnt adoptive moms be able to… caring for a NEWBORN is the main reason for taking a maternity leave not the actual pregnancy/birth/healing… if that were the case it would just be a medical leave.
Answer by rat I looked quickly and found mostly things like this:
Where I am, there is no state law requiring employers to provide paid maternity leave. That means that it’s up to individual companies if they want to offer a benefit or not. Most companies in my state do not offer maternity leave because pregnancy and recovery time after birth are covered as a short term disability. Should an employee want more time off than STD covers, they can take unpaid time off under the Family Medical Leave Act and their job will be safe for them to return to. That’s it. So where I work women need a doctor’s note saying they are too ill to be at work and they will receive up to eight weeks of 60% pay. I adopted, was not disabled, and took my time off as unpaid leave. I adopted older children who adjusted to school & our family very easily so I went back to work earlier than planned.
Can you get a copy in writing of your wife’s company’s maternity leave policy? That would be the place to start.
Answer by TerraMere Federal Family Leave allows for federally protected leave for birth of a child and adoption of a child however it is not necessarily paid. Some states require some minimum payment during family leaves and in those states that do not, some companies choose to provide some period of payment even though it is not required. Federal law does however require that employees eligible for family leave be allowed to use any accrued vacation, sick pay or the like.
Answer by 愛莉 福井 Parental leave is an employee benefit that provides paid or unpaid time off work to care for a child or make arrangements for the child’s welfare. Often, the term parental leave includes maternity, paternity, and adoption leave. Often the minimum benefits are stipulated by law.
Answer by Cam No, instead you would want to look into the FMLA:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_leave
As you can see it covers the adoption of a child.
Answer by it’s momo, b!tch GIVE ME A BREAK.
She’s not giving birth. Guess what the word “maternity” means? It has NOTHING to do with adopting a child.
She does NOT need maternity leave because she is not the one that is pregnant and pushing a baby out of her vagina. GET OVER IT.
Answer by Erin L TerraMae is right. Your wife’s company is probably required to allow leave, but it doesn’t have to be paid. When we adopted, the school district that I worked for gave 6 weeks leave for giving birth or adoption. It was not paid, though, although we were allowed to use sick days. Then I was able to take another 6 weeks off with FMLA because my daughter had a surgery, again not paid but allowed to use sick time. I ran out of sick days after 10 weeks, so I had 2 weeks that were unpaid. All in all it worked out well, and we NEEDED the time. And good lord, I can’t imagine a woman who has given birth and adjusted to a newborn is ready to go back to work after 6 weeks. Our country has such crappy laws for families.
Answer by jerrica im not sure on where you can get information about it at but i presonally think that a person adopting a new born baby should get materity leave. best of luck!
Answer by Jillian She has nothing physically to recover from so no, she should not get maternity leave. The only “act of becoming a mother” she did was sign a piece of paper.
Answer by Raven Maternity leave was granted to women who give birth to children so they could heal. Your wife is adopting, she has no need to heal from that process so giving her maternity leave would be a total waste of resources for the company.
Unless your adopting a foster child in need of help during an adjustment period I don’t see why she needs time off…
Answer by Vanessa Why should they? They haven’t given birth and don’t need to heal, which is why it is called MATERNITY leave… Unless they are delusional, as so many adopters are and feel that they actually give birth to the child they covet, therefore should take that for themselves too.
Answer by gnsmith1970 Wow. Now I really appreciate how lucky I am to live in the UK – with the entitlement to a year off work (6mths paid, 6mths unpaid) as maternity leave, whether it relates to a biological or adopted child. The government pays a statutory minimum and most companies choose to pay some more on top. Your laws sound harsh….
Answer by Yellow It all depends on where you work’s benefits with time off.
Answer by scorpio_queen_2003 I live in UK and would get the same rights as a mother who gave birth- i mean, you still need to bond and get to know the child!!! And surely the child needs time too,i mean why adopt a child and stick it straight into childcare?

It is focused on Is it possible my own father could have used me sexually as a child? that you’ll have to solve complications on their very own. With a little luck it will help to in lots of ways: as well as yourself better. Hoping focused on Is it possible my own father could have used me sexually as a child? may well be a treatment in to the future. Best solution:
Answer by Chunky Butt It’s really hard to say without anymore details.
Of course it is possible & it’s happens probably more often than you’d think.
Answer by Pretty brown eyez um it happens all the time u might be suffering from supressed or repressed memories(not sure which term). Your mother may of course deny it cause she does not know of it happening. You may need to seek therapy to figure out if its true or not.
Answer by Katie C i think i would need more info than that to help u out, but repressed memories are common enough if it happened when u were small
maybe a sichiatrist?
Answer by plumpers.com your ugly ass? i think not
Answer by Rachel W Honey i would be very stren with telling your mom that let her know that u do think its real and your scared and you need her help. if she doesnt help you then, then i would go tell the cops (personally thats just me but ya) dont be afraid to tell them that u think that you were abusid as a child…
And with your mom, if she says its an accedent then it might have been, but if you think it wasnt deff tell the cops that to!
I hope all is well!
Rachel!
Answer by Kamila i think it is possible i’ve been kinda questioning tha same thing myself with another relative in my family except it wasn’t a sexual abuse but on a smaller level and the only reason why i know it’s true is b/c i remember it as a little girl…ppl tried to tell me that such a thing never happened but they didn’t know shit…i believe it most likely is true,u can’t trick kids u know? ppl remember things on the other hand u could’ve had a bad dream and think it might’ve been true…?
Answer by Shayluvchina yes it is possible
sometimes with the mind you tend to repress memories until maybe one day
you are just doing your usual thing and someting that you look at, smell or hear can remind of of certain memoried that you wouldnt remember any given day.
and i was molested by my step father when i was 4-7
and sometimes i totolly forget that it happend to me
until something reminds me of it.
and if it never happened it could probably be a fear of getting sexually abused becuase i remeber having weird memories like going to england as a little girl but it never happened it was just a dream i had that was so realistic and it made its way into my “reality memory bank”
i really hope this helps answer your question some how.
Answer by Jacob wtf…how do I answer something like this…Maybe you got amnesia at some point in your childhood.
Answer by MICHAEL P This is an awful thing to have to wrestle with and I cannot imagine the anguish that it is giving you. Yes, it is possible as it happens more than people realise. But unless you have firm memories that you can categorically quote, you may be best served getting on with your life and not searching the past. Everyone has skeletons, some worse than others, but tomorrow can always be a better day. Whatever the truth, you have to handle this as an adult and choose a happy life or worry over things that will never happen again. Take care …
Answer by Simple&Sweet r u seriouse????? omg am sorry to hear that
Answer by JA Queen Tell someone you really trust in your family
Answer by applesalamanderpie Maybe at 4-7 you knew it was going on, but the memories of this are so painful & scarey you have supressed it. You should get into therapy. My dtr. was almost 4 when I found out. She is now 21 & is in denia. Even to the point of having her 3 girls 1-4 around him(not alone, but shouldnt anyways). She makes me feel awful, I protected her & her brother & now they are 19 & 21, they have all contact w/him & treat me terribly. This is why some moms dont want to deal w/it. If I had to do it all over again, I would still have him go t prison. My kids are in this fantasy that this is now & that was then. Go to therapy because there’s a chance you will marry a child molester or have some other kind of catastrophie in years to come. Good luck! Dont be afraid, you are a strong survivor.
