I just watched it opening day and it seemed really heavy with mother earth worship.(Sorry, God the Father didn’t say anything about “Mother”, He said to worship the creator not the creation)
The original movie wasn’t about that at all. It was about the planet earth’s people getting too much into war and maybe eventually being a threat to other planets.

Well they have made millions believe in Global Warming which is just simply a change of climates which has been happening for many millions of years. Look at the ice age, I’m sure we weren’t driving around SVUS and making the planet melt.
It is probably just made by someone who believes this kind of thing about the planet. I haven’t seen it yet but it seems like it will be all about the whole climate and war thing.

I haven’t yet seen the movie (saw the original though). But I agree with your sentiments. I hate it when movies try to preach to us, whether from the left or right. When I go to the movies, I want to be entertained, not have some jacka$ $ proselytize to me.

First of they are not “environmentalist wackos” Global Warming is a serious thing, but I’m not going to lecture you clearly don’t care, anyway, as for your question, they just wanted to make the movie, and since there isn’t a war going on there options were terrorism or global warming, they went for the less controversial one.
