Alone grow all kinds of flowers?

Doubt by Wickedd: Is there any kind of flower that grows alone?

I realize flowers grow by the spreading of seeds from one flower to the ground..but is there any type of flower that tends to grow further from its.. “mother” and is seemingly isolated?

I’m trying to find a physical manifestation for independence that creates solitude..for an AP english project. A lonesome flower is so far the only thing I’ve thought of.

The only thing I can think of is a bulb. For instance, daffodils will start with one bulb and the bulb will multiply under the ground. Although the roots are intertwined under the soil you can lift them and separate the smaller bulbs (or pups as they are often called).

I guess this is a type of isolation from the parent plant. As the clump grows, the first pup bulb will move further away as each year it is replaced by another one and it in turn will have it’s own small bulbs shooting off.

ANY flower that makes seeds can be found away from the “mother” plant. Wind, dogs, birds, humans, squirrels, etc., can all transport them to just about anywhere

or willow tree

in a storm a branch breaks off and blows or floats away – say across the lake – then it shores and grows where it has landed

watched a show on the tv one where a coconut floated in the ocean and populated another island
