I don’t see how the phrase “your mother” is an insult. It’s not even a sentence. The person did not say anything about your mother, except maybe that your mother was their favorite dessert. and that does not make any sense anyway. It’s like if I said “your chair”. Do you feel like your chair is being insulted? Think about it.

~ Do they actually KNOW your mother ?? Of course , not! Therefore, whatever they say,only characterizes themselves and possible psychological blocks THEY have with the mother image.
So, just ignore them and feel sorry for their way of thinking and moving around…..
