My 17 year old brother to live with his 17 year old female friend’s family via foster care. They’re just friends and aren’t even into each other. A social worker told his friend’s mother, “She could end up pregnant if he lives here”. Terrible, right? No, there is no such law. Many families have both male and female teens—just isn’t a wise thing to do. Parents can and should put alarms on bedrooms doors—and must definitely sleep on same floor as the teens. They can install security devices —it’s their home too.

Not that I’ve ever heard of, my girlfriends dad was a foster parent for decades and more than once he had a teenage boy and girl in the house at the same time. I think that social worker was incredibly unprofessional and out of line, I’d report her.
