Hello, I am currently learning Arabic (self-teaching myself) and know quite a bunch of vocabulary and basic phrases (like “kif haluk” meaning “how are you”). I also speak Farsi fluently. How does one structure the sentences and use adjectives properly in Arabic? Example, “um” means mother, but “umi” means “my mother”? Thanks in advance for the help.

I believe self-teaching will make you spend twice or triple the time than if taught from a professional teacher.
