Subject made by Scott: What are some issues involved in poverty on education?
I have to write a paper for my college class and we have to pick a topic on how poverty impacts education. I can’t think of any specific topics to choose. 2 topics that I heard in my class so far were “single mothers” and “teen pregnancy.” Can anyone give me some ideas to use? Thanks
Truly is supposed to be about What are some issues involved in poverty on education? which you can want to solve conditions by themself. I hope this element helps in lots of ways: and will make your life significantly better. Praying supposed to be about What are some issues involved in poverty on education? may very well be a method tomorrow.

With my experience working students from low-income families, one of the things that disturbs me most is the transiency rate. I know students that have been in five or six different schools before grade 3. Families pick up and move at any time during the school year to follow jobs, or because they can’t pay the rent, or because other factors (incarceration, deportation, domestic violence, family illness) changes the family dynamic, and forces families to move. Kids aren’t getting a stable beginning in education, and the transiency often continues throughout their (short and unsuccessful) academic careers.

There’s a lot more than that. The basic needs of any human being are food, water, and shelter. Imagine going to school not knowing when or where your next meal will come from or whether or not you’re going to have a roof over your head. Are you going to really care whether or not you pass that test with all that on your mind? What about not knowing if you’re going to come home and find your mom strung out in the living room, or worse, dead of an overdose? What about things like abuse or neglect?
Those are some extreme examples, but you get my point. I would suggest reading A Framework for Poverty by Ruby Payne.
